Management Team Building for high performance teams
Improve the teamwork and transform your organisation
The event Management Team Building marks the start of a new period for your organisation. It is an event for your team to grow to new performance levels. The present management style is obsolete and will be replaced by new, prosperous styles based on customer orientation. The purpose of this event is typically to make sure that the new management principles land broad in your organisation with all leaders at the same time. After this day, everyone is together on this new page of management. Professor Dr. Bill Bellows (USA) leads the event and guides your team into a new era of improved cooperation and long term business focus. A unique experience with theory, workshops and a simulation for the team.
Core business thinking and development of customer orientation
The objective is to move away from this solely focus on day to day issues and transform to the thinking in business goals, customer orientation and sustainability. Management Teams are quite often too much concentrated on the daily production, causing long term objectives to fade away. What is needed is to apply management principles for both the short and the long term purposes. This requires a different leadership mentality, new management principles and customer orientation throughout the organisation. This is not just a thought, but a necessity for present economic dynamics.
The economy requires fast problem solving competences in every team
Most organisations fail to perform problem solving fast, causing extremely high operational costs. The combination of deep understanding of customers' values, cooperation in teams and the ability to think in systems are crucial characteristics for organisations to perform fast problem solving. However, quite often organisation fail in this field. Issues reoccur, departments do not work together and there is always this time pressure. You will learn and experience the transformation process that is required to team up and develop the successful power house that your organisation can be.
The program in 5 phases
Generally we measure an efficiency of 50% or less and a success rate in problem solving of only 1 per 30 days. That is not OK. The new economic laws require customer orientation, fundamental low costs and fast problem solving. Transform your team to transform your organisation. Read the program underneath.
Phase 1 - The factory simulation
First it is important to experience cooperation and flow. Hierarchy, department structures, and job descriptions in general cause more problems then they solve. During the factory simulation you'll experience the transformation from a classic organisational structure to a customer orientated process organisation. The hierarchy is transformed to coaching leadership and department walls cease to exist. Moreover, a deep and new understanding of customers' demands will develop in your team.

Phase 2 - Organise teamwork
Teamwork is not a structure, but a culture. Dividing organisations in departments and then organising meetings is not a recipe for teamwork. For teamwork a mutual understanding of the customers' desires and a clear company vision are necessary. As well managers need to be leaders. Leaders educate, show respect and work from emotional intelligence to create teamwork. People don't just work, rather they want to solve problems, serve customers and contribute to the team performance.

Phase 3 - Change thought patterns
The standard reaction on faults and delays is to work more, harder, work in overtime. Instead stop working and start thinking. Change the thought patterns. Without thinking together faults will always repeat. Leaders should organise time to investigate, to perform root cause analysis and to learn. The management team needs to implement a system of profound knowledge (Dr. Deming), since problems are never solved at the same level of thinking as they originated in the first place (Dr. A. Einstein).

Phase 4 - Work as a system
The economic environment is changing constantly, like labour is limited, AI grows, suppliers come and go. For that reason, don't make the mistake to focus on just one topic to improve your organisation. On the contrary, approach everything as a system and think holistic. The management team and all other leaders in the organisation need to understand the word system in management system, or production system. That system is there for a reason. It is large and complex and need to be controlled.

Phase 5 - Management of interactions
The interaction between two players should be managed rather then the individual actions. This leadership competence is one of the secrets of successful organisations. Departments in general focus on the optimisation of their own parts and unfortunately do not optimise the customer's desires. There is focus on work instead of the interaction between two workstations. This causes enormous inefficiencies. When something goes wrong, we require action. Instead we should require management of interactions.
